Chukwuma I. Onyeije, M.D. was born in Nigeria and immigrated to the United States at the age of 4. He is currently a maternal-fetal medicine specialist at Atlanta Perinatal Associates and he is also a clinical associate professor at the Morehouse School of Medicine in the department of obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Onyeije is a self-described tech junkie.  He has been blogging on a variety of platforms since 2003. His current interests:

• Health care reform
• Health literacy
• Preeclampsia
• Preterm labor and premature birth.
• Open source software for medical communication
• Community building among low-income pregnant women
